Terms & Conditions

PET GROOMING POLICY AND AGREEMENT

We are committed to providing the highest standard of care and safety for your pet during grooming services. In order to ensure a smooth and safe experience, pets are accepted for grooming under the following conditions:

Health Status
Pets must be in reasonably good health to be groomed. If your pet has any pre-existing health conditions, including but not limited to heart problems, seizures, respiratory issues, arthritis, skin sensitivities, or recent surgeries, these must be discussed with the groomer at the time of scheduling the appointment. Grooming can be stressful for pets with medical issues and we reserve the right to refuse service if we believe it could jeopardize the pet’s well-being.

Vaccination Requirements
All pets must be current on Rabies vaccinations or puppy vaccinations, as appropriate for age. Proof of vaccination may be required. If your pet is not current, we may deny service for the safety of our staff and other animals.

Veterinary Authorization
In the event of an injury or medical concern that arises during grooming, we reserve the right to seek veterinary care. You will be contacted immediately, and we will attempt to reach your veterinarian first. If we are unable to reach you, staff may make a decision on the animals behalf to use an emergency veterinary clinic. Owners are financially responsible for any veterinary services rendered as a result of unforeseen medical issues.

Fleas & Ticks
If fleas or ticks are discovered on your pet, we will notify you upon pick up. A flea/tick treatment will be administered to protect other pets in the facility. An additional fee will be charged for this service. We highly recommend your pet remain on a monthly flea/tick preventative.

Behavior and Coat Condition Fees
Pets exhibiting aggressive, anxious, or difficult behavior that requires extra time or second handler may incur an additional behavior fee. If for any reason a groomer or staff do not feel they can safely continue the groom they reserve the right to stop the groom and request a pick up. Alternative grooming options will be discussed at pick up.

Similarly, pets with poor coat condition (excessive matting, heavy undercoat, dirt, or debris) may require extra time and tools to groom properly, which will result in an extra charge. If an abnormal cut is requested for a breed, the groomer will discuss the reasoning and determine the staff's ability to provide the cut. I.E. Shave down a Golden Retriever.

Matting Policy
Matted coats must be addressed for the comfort and health of your pet. De-matting is a delicate and time-consuming process that may not always be possible without causing pain or stress. In many cases, shaving down the coat may be the safest and most humane option. If you can not be reached and we find the requested cut cannot be done and your dog requires shaving, the groomer holds the right to either shave down for the dog's comfort or not complete the groom. De-matting does carry an additional fee.

Pick-Up and Kennel Space
Due to limited kennel space, pets must be picked up promptly once grooming is completed. We will notify you when your pet is ready. If you anticipate needing more than an hour to pick up after notification the staff must be informed at time of pick up notification.

Our goal is to complete each grooming service within 4 hours, but times may vary based on the pet’s size, condition, behavior, and schedule demands. Please be patient with us. Multiple phone calls inquiring about progress will delay service.
